RECOMMENDED SUPPLIES

Area Protection: Lay down plastic or painter’s paper to protect the work area.
Cutting Tool: Use a sharp knife (a razor blade works best) for cutting the needed repair area out.
Material Covering: Wrap the target with plastic wrap (cellophane, Glad plastic wrap is best) as needed.
Hand Protection: Latex gloves are provided.
Eye Protection: Safety glasses are strongly advised.
Mixing Tool: Utilize the provided mixing paddle.
Timekeeping: Have a timer or stopwatch on hand to keep track of time.
Power Tool: You’ll need a drill for mixing.
Measuring Tool: Have a measuring tape to get the full use of the repair kit.

STEP 1: Measure and Mark:

Use a measuring tape to measure a 5-inch circle around the affected area on the target.

STEP 2: Cut Out the Circle:

Cut out the marked circle and the affected area, creating a 5-inch diameter.
Clear away any loose pieces from the target.

STEP 3: Cover the Hole:

Wrap and cover the hole you just made with plastic wrap. Ensure it is tight over the hole for the best results.
Wrap the entire target with plastic wrap, adding multiple layers to cover the hole. For a contour fit, use thumbtacks or tape to press down the plastic wrap around the hole. The tighter the better.

STEP 4: Slit for Repair Kit:

Cut a slit in the plastic wrap over the center of the hole. Make it large enough to pour the repair kit contents into the holed-out area.

STEP 6: Preparation

Gather all tools and supplies.
Shake Part 2 before opening.
Have the drill ready with the provided mixing paddle attached.
Ensure both bottles are opened and place the provided tongue depressor within reach.
Have a timer at the ready.
Wear provided gloves and safety glasses are recommended.

STEP 7: Mixing Part 1 and Part 2

Pour the contents of the Part 2 bottle into the Part 1 bottle.
Start the timer.
Use the tongue depressor to empty more of the contents of Part 2 into the Part 1 bottle for 30 seconds.

STEP 8: Thorough Mixing

Using a drill and the provided mixing paddle Mix Part 1 and Part 2 in the Part 1 bottle for 45 seconds to 1 minute.
